| Subject of the standard: | This document specifies the essential safety requirements applicable to the design and construction of reaction moulding machines and plants as defined in 3.1 and 3.2. This document deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations or hazardous events during all phases of the machine life cycle (see EN ISO 12100:2010, 5.4), when reaction moulding machines and plants are used as intended and under conditions of misuse that are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Annex A). A reaction moulding machine begins at the working tank(s) and ends at the mixing head(s). |
