| Predmet normy: | This Technical Report provides electrical equipment data collected from different countries for use, where necessary, in the calculation of short-circuit currents in accordance with IEC 60909-0. The data may be applied to low-voltage networks when they are consistent with the types of equipment typically used in the relevant country. The report supports medium- and high-voltage network planning and enables comparison of calculated values with data supplied by manufacturers or electricity suppliers. It includes typical data for synchronous machines, transformers, overhead lines, cables, asynchronous motors and busbars. For overhead lines and cables, electrical parameters may also be derived from physical dimensions and material properties using the equations provided. This document supplements IEC 60909-0 and does not modify the standardized short-circuit calculation method. |
