| Predmet normy: | This CEN/TS gives complementary provisions for the use of reclaimed structural components in the execution of steel structures in EXC1 to EXC3 according to EN 1090-2. The provisions apply to products used in structures to be designed according to EN 1993-1-1 without seismic and/or fatigue design. This CEN/TS specifies requirements for the reusability assessment of reclaimed structural components and the declaration of mechanical and geometrical properties as well as weldability. The properties to be declared are those listed as required relevant properties to be specified according to clause 5.1 of EN 1090-2: • strength (yield and tensile); • elongation; • tolerances on dimensions and shape; • heat treatment delivery conditions; • weldability. This CEN/TS applies to reclaimed hot rolled profiles and hot finished or cold formed hollow sections used as constituent products according to EN 1090-2.
