| Subject of the standard: | This European Standard (EN) specifies the policy and security requirements that apply to Trust Service Providers (TSPs) issuing electronic time-stamps. It establishes the framework to ensure that time-stamp tokens: can be trusted as accurate and verifiable evidence of the existence of data at a specific point in time, are generated and signed by a secure and auditable process, and meet the legal and technical requirements set out in Article 42 of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS) for qualified electronic time-stamps. The standard defines: general and security policies for TSPs issuing time-stamps, organizational and technical controls (e.g. key management, accuracy, audit, incident management, personnel security), requirements for the Time-Stamping Authority (TSA), including cryptographic controls and system integrity, and assessment criteria for conformity evaluation. ... |
